Your dentist will check your teeth and gums, take a look at your bite, and take x-rays if they think it’s needed to see what’s happening beneath the surface. You’ll usually get a clean at the same visit, and your dentist will walk you through anything they’ve found and what, if anything, they’d suggest next.
