When should my child first see a dentist?
Generally, around their first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth coming through, whichever happens first. Earlier visits help your child get used to the dentist before there’s ever a problem to fix.
What if my child is scared?
Totally normal, and common. We go slowly, explain everything in kid-friendly terms, and won’t push past what your child’s comfortable with on the day. Some children need a few visits before they’re fully at ease, and that’s fine.
How much is a children's checkup?
It depends on what’s involved, and many children are eligible for free or low-cost care under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. We can check your child’s eligibility and walk you through the cost when you book.
Do you offer fluoride treatments?
Yes, fluoride is a standard part of most children’s checkups where appropriate for their age and risk of decay.
Can I book my child and myself on the same day?
Yes, just let us know when you call or book, and we’ll try to line up your appointments back to back.
